Using a squat toilet

  • People are used to using squat toilets for urination and defecation. 
  • Squat toilets are often found in both rural and urban areas and are considered to be much healthier even though they seem old-fashioned. Squat toilets can be found everywhere, such as malls, campuses, schools, etc. 
  • In a squat toilet, one has to squat down, bend their knees, and open their legs wide. After finishing defecating or urinating, one can clean themselves by pouring water into the anus and into the toilet until clean.
