Offer guests food or drinks and allow guests to enjoy a meal

  • When a guest comes or visits a house, the host usually offers drinks. In fact, food is also offered to the guest regardless of the close relationship or not between the guest and the host.
  • Offering drinks or food to a guest is a form of respect for the guest. As someone who is a guest in someone else's home, when there is an offer from the host to drink or eat something, one usually says "no need" or "don't bother" as a form of small talk.
  • In addition, it is rude for a guest to drink or eat before being invited or allowed by the homeowner.
  • Guests can take food or drink after being invited by the host.
